Doughnut Plant

It's 4:00pm now, and I am dying for a snack.

Where is this magical place where doughnuts and pastries grow on trees, and girls wear cute clothes and hosiery?

Heaven! (to answer your question.)
and here i was just drooling over your previous french food post.
Tasty!
yummie!! these could be my favourite trees 'the' days of the month :P
I had a feeling the answer was going to have something to do with Japan. It just seems like that would be the place.
We have a box of donuts in the office right now!
^_^
But it's been there since yesterday and the reason they're STILL there is because they're from Dunkin Donuts and they're scary sweet. Frosted donuts topped with M&Ms. Um.

Anyhoo, these photos are great! I may have to feature one on Serious Eats.
my two favorite things: clothes and sweet food!
So creative! And I just want to jump into those photos.
omg robyn i'd totally go homer simpson all over those doughnuts. seriously, i love them! i know you're just meh on them, but boy... a good doughnut is hard to pass up. especially if they grow on trees and are ripe for the picking.
you should totally post them on serious eats!
ahhhh
a dieter's nightmare
i love the outfits
wish I had to courage to wear so many patterns at once.
Love your blog by the way!
I have this picture in my head of Lily Cole in a mint-ish coloured dress standing aside a pastrytree like this. I believe it was a Tim Walker photoshoot?
I'm not sure if this shoot actually exists or if it's just some product of my imagination, though.
i reeeeally want some reeeeally long false eyelashes now! (and a doughnut)
Love all the Japanese label coverage you do.... I'm so out of touch as I don't buy Japanese magazines anymore....
I don't know if you've heard of it, but in Australia there's a popular game played at children's birthday parties where you tie donuts to a clothesline, then tie everyone's hands behind their backs and have a race to eat the donuts! these photos reminded me of that game.
that sounds AMAZING.
yummmy, I think they're magical healthy zero calorie pastries and doughnuts, so you can eat as many as you want and your cute little outfits will still fit you perfectly! ;)
Lover-ly. If I had known of these ads I could have actually been convinced to step into their stores. I never did, though, because it's one of those brands that are higher end. I do promise you that there are much more affordable brands in Japan.
makes me hungry:)
Wooow. This is awesome. i loooove these pictures. ohh yummy yummy.
